The questions people actually ask
Before a first hair system, most men have the same questions, and most are reluctant to ask them out loud. Here are the answers, written by people who had the same questions themselves.

A professionally fitted system is not recognised, not from ten centimetres away, not at the hairdresser and not when someone runs a hand through your hair. What gives systems away is a badly drawn hairline and a poor colour match, not the system itself.
How long does it last
Two to six months, depending on the base and how you care for it. The bond is renewed as needed, depending on wear.
Can I sleep, shower and swim with it
Yes to all three. A properly bonded system stays where it is. Rinsing after swimming helps keep the bond and the hair in good condition.
What happens if I stop
Nothing. Your own hair carries on exactly as it would have. A system does not damage the scalp and does not accelerate hair loss.
Is it a wig
No. A wig sits on top of the head and is taken off. A system is bonded to the scalp, worn day and night, and blends with your own hair.
How natural does the hairline look
The hairline is where systems are recognised or not. Ours is drawn by hand, irregular and thinned out at the front, because a natural hairline is never a straight line. On skin bases the hair is knotless, so there is no visible knot at the root.
What is the difference between the materials
Skin is a thin film, most natural, least robust. Lace is breathable mesh, best for sport and heat. French lace with a wide polyurethane edge is the most robust, slightly thicker. All three carry the same hair; only the base differs.
Hair system or transplant
A transplant moves your own hair and needs enough donor hair; the result shows after six to eighteen months and costs 5,000 to 15,000 €. A system works the same day, costs 599 to 689 €, and can be stopped any time. Neither is right for everyone, and we say which one fits you even when it is not us.
