At the end you get an honest assessment, even if it is that this is not worth it for you yet. You pay nothing and commit to nothing. 2. System and colour choice Base according to lifestyle, colour by colour ring including the grey proportion, hairline to suit your face. Which base makes sense when is set out in detail under skin, lace or mono. 3. Fitting appointment (about 90 minutes) Shaving the attachment area, bonding, cutting in to your hairstyle, blending with your own hair, styling. You leave the studio with a finished result. 4. Self-change training We show you the whole process together once. Whether you then change it yourself or use the studio service is your decision at every appointment.

The first days, honestly

Day 1: you will keep looking in the mirror. That is normal and it passes. Days 2 to 3: the feeling on the scalp is unfamiliar, rather like a new pair of glasses. Almost everyone describes not noticing it after a short while. First week: the first wash takes some nerve. It is completely unproblematic, but you will be more careful than necessary. Weeks 2 to 3: the first change is due. The first time it takes longer and feels complicated. By the third time it is routine. After a month: most people tell us they hardly think about it any more.

The three most common beginner mistakes

1. Too much product, with adhesive as with styling. Less holds better.
2. Impatience when removing. Remover needs time. Pulling irritates the skin.
3. Delaying the change too long. The hairline becomes visible and the skin suffers.

Who it does not suit

We would rather say it beforehand: if the idea of investing an hour at your own rhythm bothers you, you will not be happy with a hair system. Then shaving is the more honest answer. What to bring to the first appointment

Above all one thing: about a centimetre of hair at the sides and the back. We need that length to determine your colour exactly and to make the transition between your own hair and the system look natural. So do not come freshly shaved.
