Receding hairline, crown or full baldness
A hair system works at every stage of hair loss. What changes is the size of the system and how it blends with the hair you still have.

The smallest case and often the first step. A small system covers the temples and blends forwards into your own hair. Nobody sees a boundary because there is none.
A thinning crown
The crown is harder than the hairline because hair grows in a whorl there. A system reproduces that pattern, which is why the cut matters more than anywhere else.
Both together
When the hairline and the crown meet, the area between them is usually already thin. In that case a larger system is often simpler and looks better than two separate ones.
Complete baldness
With no hair left to blend into, everything depends on the hairline. It is drawn by hand, thinned in places and irregular, because a natural hairline is never a straight line.
What changes over time
Hereditary hair loss progresses. The area that is bare today will be larger in two years. That is why we measure again for every new system rather than reusing old measurements.
What a small system costs
The same as a large one: 599 to 689 €. The price depends on the base, not on the size. A small system for the temples is worked with the same care as a full one, and the hairline is where most of that care goes.
When to start
Earlier is easier. While your own hair still frames the area, the transition has more to blend into. Once the hairline has moved back far, the system does more of the work and the result depends more on the hairline we draw.
